Zirkzee has issued an apology to Manchester United supporters following his unsuccessful penalty attempt.

Following Manchester United's FA Cup loss to Fulham, Joshua Zirkzee has conveyed his apologies to the club's supporters for his missed penalty, which occurred at a critical juncture in the match.

During the penalty shootout in Manchester United's FA Cup match against Fulham, Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee's attempt was unsuccessful, as his shot was saved by Fulham's goalkeeper, Bernd Leno. This missed penalty proved to be a pivotal moment in the shootout's outcome. While all four Fulham penalty takers successfully converted their kicks, Manchester United's prospects of victory diminished further when Victor Lindelof also failed to score.

Zirkzee's inaugural season at Old Trafford has presented considerable difficulties, although he previously experienced a notable success earlier in the competition, scoring the decisive penalty in the third-round victory against Arsenal. Regrettably, his missed penalty against Fulham resulted in the forfeiture of another potential trophy for Manchester United.

Subsequently, Zirkzee addressed Manchester United supporters via social media. Accompanying an image of himself with his teammates, he conveyed his remorse, stating, "I apologize for disappointing you today, Reds. Thank you for the unwavering support.
